The dream scenario would have been to go 4-4 in the PrizePicks selection for the Wild Card Weekend, but unfortunately Leonard Fournette and the Buccaneers had other ideas. The good news is that Cameron Dicker, Daniel Jones, and Dalton Schultz all covered props.
Achieving 75% of picks is an acceptable result, although there is room for improvement. It’s been an intense weekend of football, but they need to tap into something even better in the divisional rounds.

PrizePicks Player Props for NFL Playoffs
Jerick McKinnon over 57.5 rushing + receiving yards
If you’ve perused the PrizePicks lobby, you may be wondering why I chose the rush + receive prop when the rush prop is 19.5 yards and the receive prop is 33.5 yards. The answer is simple. He can cover this prop with 30 and 30 receiving yards, or 15 and 45 receiving yards. This route is reassuring because he only has to worry about gaining yards from scrimmage.
Over his last six games, McKinnon has played nearly 50% of his snaps. During that stretch, he averaged 23.6 rushing yards and he recorded 45.6 receiving yards. A matchup against the Jaguars would be favorable for McKinnon as Jacksonville has one of the biggest pass funnels in his defense in the league. In other words, they’re strong on the run and vulnerable in the air. We could easily see McKinnon pass Isaiah Pacheco if the Chiefs lean into the matchup.
Saquon Barkley 70.5+ lashing yards
Barkley gained only 28 yards on nine carries in his first game against the Eagles this season, but the Giants were trailing by three early in the first half and were playing a big deficit the entire game. Gary Brightwell and Matt Vryda combined for 15 carries and 88 rushing yards when the Giants chose to rest their starters against Philadelphia in Week 18.
Brian Daboll is one of the best coaches in the league at opponent game planning. Against the Vikings, he took a pass-heavy approach. The Eagles are 1st in DVOA against passes and 21st in DVOA against runs, so expect a run-heavy approach this week. The Giants don’t want a shootout with the Eagles.
Josh Allen Less than 44.5 rushing yards
Looking at Allen’s game log, we see a lot of variation in both rush attempts and rush yards. He’s a tough quarterback to beat and faster than he looks, making him a threat gaining yards on the ground every time his pocket collapses.
It’s never fun playing against Allen on any prop, but this matchup isn’t well set up for his charging upwards. 6th place in Allen should have enough time in his pocket to take this secondary apart. Additionally, Cincinnati allowed opposing quarterbacks his third-lowest rushing yards (10.8) per game during the regular season.
Betting on the NFL?
Ezekiel Elliott 34.5 yards or less
How can you not love Zeke’s rushed prop unders this week? First of all, he lost to Tony Pollard in the wild card round. Fantasy his players have been clamoring for this to happen for years, and the Cowboys are finally starting to give Pollard more work. Zeke played 48% of the snaps against the Buccaneers, and he could only convert 13 carries to 27 yards. His last three games combined average less than 2 yards per carry.
Don’t expect many rushing lanes to open up this week against The Niners, as Zeke allowed the second-lowest rushing yards per game in a regular season (78.5). The Cowboys are a 3.5-point underdog, and falling behind early on in a pass-heavy game can put him in script. Basically, a bad matchup or potentially bad game script will result in an inefficient running his back.
