Anthony Yard approaches what he calls “the biggest fight of his career” on Jan. 28 at the venue where it all began for him as a pro in 2015.

Remember that May 2015 evening when Yard was one of the early birds on the long card? Bradley Skeet ultimately surpassed the bill by £175, which included Frank He Buglioni, a fighter heavily involved in fighting an explosive newcomer to his scene.
“It feels like it was a while ago, but that moment is so fresh in my heart. It was the day I weighed myself, but for me, this is my destiny.
“I made my professional debut in that arena, and now I am about to play a unified match in that arena and leave as unified world champion.”
His own fight may still be fresh in memory, but he actually didn’t realize Sanders wasn’t Bill Topper on debut night.
“It shows how focused I am on myself! Boxing is a long road and I’ve always been focused on myself. Of those heights I still have a lot to pass.” There are some things.
“I don’t think I would have gotten here if I hadn’t focused on myself. A lot of people say I’m stupid or lying when I say I don’t know who’s on the same card as me.” I thought, I don’t know some of the people in my weight class. I just focused on myself.

“It didn’t slow me down in my career in any way, but that’s why I’ve always advocated focusing on myself.”
The WBC, WBO and IBF world light heavyweight titles Arthur Beterbiev vs. Anthony Jade will be broadcast live on BT Sport at the OVO Arena in Wembley on January 28th. The bumper card also depicts his WBA world flyweight title fight between undefeated fighters Artem Darakian and David Jiminez.
Willie Hutchinson and Karol Itauma are battling for the WBO Intercontinental and WBC International light heavyweight titles respectively, and the show features Charles Frankham, Oumar Khan, Sean Nokes, Joshua Frankham, Khalid Ali, Tommy Fletcher is also in the spotlight.
