After just one season at South Bend, Notre Dame safety is up to the NFL

When Northwest safety Brandon Joseph entered the transfer portal last season, Notre Dame was seen as a perfect fit for the former All-American. The marriage happened, but it was short-lived, as Joseph declared today for the NFL Draft.

With the player given an extra year during the shortened COVID-19 season, he had one season left to go, but Joseph will move on to the NFL.

During his only season in Ireland, he forced 30 tackles, 1 interception and a fumble. Joseph also returned long 20 for 179 yards on 18 punts during the season.

At the beginning of the season, Joseph was considered a potential first round pick. I wish Joseph all the best in ‘The League’.
