Well, this was the real Miami Heat.
On Wednesday, the Heat formed their 15th Opening Day lineup of the season. We were not disappointed.
The Heat made life easier for the New Orleans Pelicans. The Pelicans were playing without his three key players, including Zion Williamson and Brandon Ingram, but this win was still a step in the right direction for the Heat.
“I just want to get it done,” Heat manager Erik Spoelstra said. Tonight they set the tone for the game on both ends of the court and like I said, they were very good offensively at that point, they had presence, they were physical, they were active. “
The Heat welcomed back guard Kyle Lowry, who has missed the last four games with a knee injury. He finished with seven points, eight rebounds and four assists in 22 minutes.
With the Heat healthy just before the NBA All-Star break, the second half of the season should be interesting.
“It should be,” said Butler. “I think whenever we’re healthy, we’re a very good team. It’s part of the game, it’s part of the league. As long as everyone is comfortable, we’re a really good basketball team.”
