The men’s football team ended a three-game winning streak after losing 2-1 to South Broward. Jose de la Torre, Simon Utrera, Diego Vazquez, Gabriel Marrero, Felipe Tejada, Daniel Matza and Brian Camacho were seniors of honor.
It will be the first year for head coach Marc Lyon to coach these seniors, but the group has reached back-to-back district finals.
“Seniors meant a lot to me this year,” said Lyon. “Simon Utrera is one of the best goalkeepers in the history of the Coral Grays and should play at the professional level in the years to come. Felipe Tejada is also one of the best centre-backs in the county.” and has Division I talent.”
Lyon also praised de la Torre’s work in midfield and Matza, who leads the side with 15 goals. The Coral Grays head into the postseason with his 7-4-4 record and awaiting an official fixture in the district tournament.

Women’s soccer
The girls’ soccer team finished the regular season 4-8-2 with a 3-0 win over Thatch Broward High School.they won too monarchEverglades, Blanche Erie High School.
They still honor Siver Benton, Nina Bratz, Tatiana Merino, Emily Sepulveda and Sala de Olivera. The Jaguars are also looking forward to seeing who they face in the districts after reaching the finals in 2022.
