Dodgers Add MLB Network’s Steven Nelson to Broadcast Team

los angeles dodgers announced the addition MLB Network’s Stephen Nelson Joins Broadcast Team for 2023 Season. According to MLB.com, he will appear in his 50 games on SportsNet LA alongside Joe Davis, Orel Hershiser and the rest of the Dodgers broadcast crew. Nelson has extensive experience in the industry and should fit well with the LA broadcast team.

The Dodgers have always been known for featuring high-profile broadcasts. Much of it was due to the late Vin Scully, considered one of the greatest voices of all time.Joe Davis was previously a play-by-play for the Dodgers. Replacing Scully was always a challenge, but fans responded well to Davis’ work.

About Stephen Nelson, he is a 33-year-old California native and award-winning announcer. In addition to her work on MLB Network, she also contributes to NHL Network, NBC Sports, Apple TV and YouTube.

“Hey LA, Stephen Nelson is here. Just wanted to introduce myself. It’s more than an honor to join the Dodgers broadcast team and be a small part of the Dodgers family.”

Nelson also confirmed that Joe Davis will remain with the team this year.

“For a madman, Joe[Davis]is going nowhere,” Nelson said. “I’ll take his place sometimes.”

Nelson is set to join a talented Dodgers broadcast team in the 2023 campaign.
