st. LEWIS (AP) — Robert Thomas and Brendan Ward scored a goal and an assist, respectively, as the St. Louis Blues thrashed the Nashville Predators Thursday night in his 5-2 victory.

Jordan Binnington had 24 saves and 108 wins to tie with Grant Fool for fourth in Blues history. Braden Shen, Jordan Cairo and Alexei Trobchenko also scored for St. Louis.

Colton Sissons in his 500th NHL game and Matthias Ekholm scoring in Nashville.

The Blues took a 1-0 lead on Shen’s lister 11 seconds into the second period. The shot went off the sticks of defender Ryan McDonagh and former goalkeeper Juze Saros.

Shen scored in extra time to give the Blues a 1–0 win the last time the team played.

The Predators tied it at 2:36 when Sissons was left alone during Bruce’s bad line change.

Third put St. Louis back on top with a backhand shot between Saros’ legs at 8:30. St. Louis rookie Tyler his Tucker helped earn his first NHL points.

Kyrou also used his backhand to score a power play goal at 15:34. He has scored 10 points (5 goals and 5 assists) in his nine games with Nashville.

The Blues added two quick goals in third. Thomas scored on his 1:03, followed by Trobchenko on his 2:01.

Nashville’s final goal came from Ekholm at 17:52.

Tommy Novak’s goal for Nashville was overturned when officials ruled for goalkeeper interference at 2:03 of the first period. Jeremy Lauzon made contact with Binnington before Novak tapped the rebound.
