Amarillo, Texas (KFDA) – The new Texas Basketball Coaches Association State Rankings were released today. Check below for the full rankings of each team in the Texas Panhandle.
Farwell Lady Steers remains 12th in the 2A rankings. This is after she won two districts last week by more than 40 points. They sit two behind the Panhandle, the nemesis of the district they lost in the district opener.
“We feel really good. We’ve got a great district Vega is great Clearly the panhandle is one of the best programs in the state and one of the best coaches that’s kind of what we’re aiming for A lot of what’s going on right now is trying to figure out how to beat the panhandle, how to beat the best team.”
Lady Steers will have a chance to take revenge on the Panhandle next Tuesday, January 24th.
