Veteran boxer Ivan Ledkaja tweeted on Sunday, “There are a lot of mean people in boxing.” (sic) It is unclear why the 36-year-old Ukrainian fighter made the post. In a subsequent tweet, Redkach did not blame Broner or Broner’s promoter, BLK, for whatever the circumstances were. It became clear.

“Thank you BLK for the opportunity,” Redkach said in the second tweet. “I was stolen and injured in the best dream match of my life Boxing is my life It was the fans that brought me to the boxing gym when I was 6 I let my team down I let my family down All the fans are like this Waited for the match It wasn’t mine The fault it happened! showed.

“This battle @Adrian Broner It should happen against all odds,” Redkach added in a third tweet. Some people don’t want this, but I respect all the merits of Adrian and BLK (sic). Clearly, these tweets leave more questions than answers. For example, who does Redkach feel he’s been hurt by? Also, is he really going to fight Broner, and if so, under what conditions and circumstances? This guy doesn’t appear to be unhappy with BLK, Broner’s promotions his outlet, or Broner himself.

23-6-2-2 Redkatch has been a fighting game mainstay for some time, having fought the likes of Danny Garcia, Regis Prograis, Devon Alexander and Tevin Farmer. He tends to lose big fights, but is undefeated in his first 19 fights, only stopped by Pro Grace, John Molina Jr and Dejan Zlatikanan.

As for Broner, he’s looking to rejuvenate his career. If he’s serious, fighting Redkach is a good place to start. Both men could certainly capitalize on their wins and more importantly this matchup could be an interesting fight not to mention the pay-per-view match is set to end on his February 25th .
