One of the passengers, 23-year-old Jamea Jonae Harris, was shot dead, police said.
One of the suspects was hit by a bullet and injured when someone in the other car opened fire. It is not clear which suspect was shot.
Investigators believed the two parties got into a minor argument along the Strip before the bullets flew.
A native of Washington, DC, Miles was a senior at the University of Alabama, playing as a forward on the school’s basketball team. He was reportedly benched due to his ankle injury during the team’s game against Louisiana State University on Saturday.

The school also offers counseling services for students.
Neither Harris nor Davis are affiliated with the university.
