Garvonta Davies recently released a private message from a conversation with Eddie Hahn that suggested “Tank” wasn’t the most brilliant person.

Boxing promoters have called Davis a “bad motherfucker” and have even compared him to heavyweight legend Mike Tyson after his recent win over Hector Luis Garcia.

However, in a tribute about the 28-year-old, Hahn claimed Davis “isn’t a deep thinker,” and later suggested he didn’t speak the language.

In an interview with DAZN, he said: He is not a definite young man.

“He’s a bad boy. I don’t mean that in a disrespectful way. He’s a bad mom.

“Some of the other greats were, like Mike Tyson.

The American initially reacted to Hahn’s comments about him since it was deleted, he wrote. I didn’t sign it.”

Leonard Erab, who worked for Mayweather Promotions and helped Davis reach the top of boxing, was angered by Hahn’s remarks.

He tweeted: “Eddie Hahn, you meant it in a disrespectful way to your privileged racist.

“Who [the f***] You think he’s not a deep thinker or clear? That’s the problem, mf seems to think he’s better than others.we don’t play that shit here [f***ing clown]”

On Saturday, Davis shared a screenshot to social media. This shows Matchroom his sports chairman confronting Hearn about his comments before claiming they were taken out of context.

This isn’t the first time the three-division world champion has leaked personal correspondence with Hearn.

Davis and Garcia agreed to fight in April.

Oscar de la Hoya, who promotes Garcia, declared on Saturday night that he had not yet received a contract for the Davis fight, claiming he would move on if he did not receive a contract by Monday.
