The Uvalde Coyotes will make their home debut of the season on Friday against the San Antonio Memorial Minutemen at the UHS stadium.

National teams clash at 7pm.

Prior to that match, the junior national team will play from 5pm.

The UHS boys were in Pleasanton for tournament action this weekend.

The Coyotes, led by George Menchaca, who has a 1-4 record on the season, were scheduled to face the La Vernier Bears and the Wimberly Texans in the first two games.

Tournament play was scheduled to end yesterday.

Pleasanton tournament results will be reported in future editions of Leader News.

The Coyotes entered the tournament in an attempt to end a four-game losing streak following last weekend’s Tibby Tournament losses against Carville Tibby, Shellyland Pioneers and Lockhart.

Medina Valley defeated the Coyotes 7-0 in a football tournament in Castroville last Tuesday night.
