With the rise of social media, NBA teams have another way to trash talk their opponents.
The Miami Heat may have used their Twitter account to make fun of Milwaukee Bucks guard Grayson Allen after Saturday’s win. Allen was in the back.
The post’s caption reads, “You can’t trip him if he’s 10 feet off the ground.”
The post could be an attempt to attack Allen, who gained a reputation for tripping players while at Duke. There’s still a full edited video of Allen trying to trip his opponent on YouTube.
Since entering the NBA, Allen has been considered one of the dumbest players in the league. Allen was once sent off for committing two flagrant fouls in a Summer League game.
Allen’s tactics failed to slow or trip Oladipo, who finished with 20 points to help the Heat win their second straight game against the Bucks. The Heat and Bucks will meet in Milwaukee on February 4 next year.
