Super Wildcard Weekend

Saturday, 4:30 PM ET (Fox)

Featured games | | San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks

This will be a rain game, so Christian McCaffrey, Elijah Mitchell and Kenneth Walker will be the main weapons in the offense. They beat the Seahawks by 8 points in Seattle and 20 at home.

In fact, this year was the first time since 2011 that San Francisco took Seattle by storm. Since 1970, he has 23 instances where a team has made his third matchup in the playoffs after battling his regular 2-0 opponents in the season. A 2-0 team that in his third meeting he is 14-9. The Seahawks entered the postseason with a skin on their beak, and they’re not looking to upset the 49ers in the first round.

pick: Seahawks +10
Expected score: 49ers 17-13

Saturday, 8:15 p.m. ET (NBC)

Featured games | | Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Los Angeles Chargers

It was a rematch from Week 3 of the regular season, with the Jaguars defeating the Chargers 38-10 in LA. Austin Ekeler received a touch-low season while Keenan Allen didn’t play. Last week, Brandon Staley played his starter deep in the second half for some reason in a pointless game against the Denver Broncos, leaving Mike Williams and Joey Botha injured. It’s a shame Rashawn Slater isn’t there, though.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Chargers dominating this matchup, but I would pick the underdog. The Jaguars are gaining momentum and it was almost strange to see them have a home field advantage against the Titans in Week 18. It also stood out for the defense to win Jacksonville’s game when the offense wasn’t exactly clicking on every cylinder. .

pick: Jaguars +2.5
Expected score: Jaguars 27-20

Sunday 1:00 p.m. CBS

Featured games | | Buffalo Bills vs Miami Dolphins

Tua Tagovailoa is out. Without Tua, how could he have picked the Dolphins? This two teams split his series for the season, with his team winning each game at home. Miami has lost four straight in the playoffs, trailing by at least 17 points each. It was the first franchise in NFL history to lose four consecutive playoff games by 17 points each.

pick: Bill -13
Expected score: Bill 35-17

Sunday 4:30 pm (Fox)

Featured games | | Minnesota Vikings v New York Giants

This matchup probably wouldn’t be considered a “must see” game for Super Wild Card Weekend, but I’m glad it worked out this way. Joseph scored the game-winning field goal 61 yards. Justin Jefferson and TJ Hockenson exploded for 242 combined receiving yards and he scored three touchdowns. However, it is worth noting that Adley Jackson and Xavier McKinney missed that match. They rank among the top two teams on the team in allowed completion percentages among defensive backs this season.

Take an upset here. Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley have been coveting this stage, and it should be some solace to face a team they just faced a few weeks ago. The Vikings’ defense ranks in the bottom five in points per game (25.1), yards per game (388.7) and yards per play (5.9) this season, so Minnesota’s defense is in New York. will make the offense look better.

pick: Giant +3
Expected score: Giants 24-21

Sunday 8:15 PM ET (NBC)

Featured games | | Cincinnati Bengals vs. Baltimore Ravens

The Bengals will win this game as Lamar Jackson reportedly faces an uphill battle to play on Sunday. Cincinnati just beat Baltimore last week, he 27-16. The Bengals are also taking to cover the spread.

pick: Bengals -8.5
Expected score: Bengals 28-13

Monday, 8:15 PM ET ESPN

Featured games | | Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys

Tom Brady is 7-0 against the Cowboys, but Dallas is 4-5 as a playoff favorite since 1996. Everything seems to be lining up in favor of the Buccaneers, but I’d go with whichever team I think is better.

The Buccaneers may have found something offensive in their win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 17, but I have more faith in Tony Pollard and Sheedy Lamb. Dak Prescott, who finished the regular season with an interception against Davis Mills, took the NFL lead despite missing five games.

We expect the Buccaneers to lead 10-0 before the Cowboys dominate the second half to take the win. I fully understand not trusting the Cowboys, but the same is true of the Buccaneers.

pick: Cowboy -2.5
Expected score: Cowboys 23-20

division round

(4) Jacksonville Jaguars (1) Kansas City Chiefs

This is a rematch from November when the Chiefs beat the Jaguars 27-17. Trevor Lawrence played well for 259 passing yards and two touchdowns, but his defense struggled to stop Patrick Mahomes, who threw for 331 yards, four touchdowns and an interception. Congrats to the Jaguars for making it this far, but I don’t see him overthrowing the No. 1 seed in the AFC when they’re away.

Expected score: Chiefs 30-21

(3) Cincinnati Bengals (2) Buffalo Bills

The last time these two teams met, we all witnessed the unfortunate Dummer Hamlin incident. We had what looked like a great shootout before that horrific event happened.

Joe Burrow will go 4-1 in his playoff career if he makes it to the divisional round. The Bengals already knew he was a dangerous playoff team after he went 4-0 in the ATS last season in the postseason. But I think the match against the Bills ends here. Buffalo have been Super Bowl favorites all year, and Hamlin’s situation certainly gives the Bills even more motivation.

Expected score: Bill 28-24

(6) Philadelphia Eagles New York Giants (1)

Another division, postseason matchup. In December, the Eagles blew the Giants by 26 points, and Davis Webb held it up in the regular season finale, losing 22–16. increase. I’m curious to see what the spread does in this game, but the Giants aren’t going to beat the Eagles head-on. There’s a reason they dominated his series this season.

Expected score: Eagles 27-20

(5) Dallas Cowboys (2) San Francisco 49ers

It’s kind of a déjà vu, except that this Cowboys-49ers game is in California. The key to this game for the 49ers is to include Ezekiel Elliott and Pollard. He had just 45 rushing yards between the two backs combined in last year’s playoffs. Oddly enough, as the chemistry between George Kittle and Brandon Ayuk continues to evolve, I trust this Purdy offense more compared to Jimmy Garoppolo’s offense. Aiyuk is an underrated wideout and hard to contain downfield. Jerry Jones fumes as Purdy beats Prescott.

Expected score: 49ers 23-21

Championship Sunday

(2) Philadelphia Eagles (1) San Francisco 49ers

Sunday, January 29, 3:05 PM ET (Fox)

Picking Purdy to upset the Eagles in Philadelphia would be a trendy pick heading into Sunday’s championship. Finish and advance to the Super Bowl again.

Expected score: Eagles 20-16

(2) Buffalo Bills at (1) Kansas City Chiefs (neutral site)

Sunday, January 29, 6:40 PM ET (CBS)

Remember this game is held in a neutral location. OK, it’s definitely chalky for both top seeds to make the final four of hers in each conference, but here’s another upset. Mahomes told Buffalo earlier this season that he was 4 and he threw 2 interceptions, but in the AFC Championship game he was 3 and he threw 2 interceptions. I’m here.

Devin Singletary rushed for 85 yards on 17 carries (5.0 yards per carry) against the Chiefs earlier this season to help balance the offense, but all three touchdowns were in the air. It was held in. The Chiefs, on the other hand, only gained 68 total yards, but Isaiah his Pacheco didn’t play a big part in the offense early in the season. We expect this playoff rematch to be more like a regular season game, as opposed to his January 23 matchup last year. Buffalo’s defense is tasked with containing Travis Kelce and Chiefs wide receivers, so the 78 points total is out of the question. Bill to the Super Bowl.

Expected score: Bill 29-26

Super Bowl LVII

(2) Buffalo Bills (1) Philadelphia Eagles

Sunday, February 12, 6:30 PM ET (Fox)

In a way, I feel like we’ve been leading this all year.At the beginning of the 2022 season, it was the Bills that looked like the best team in the AFC, and the Eagles in the NFC. Opinions have probably oscillated after Allen’s elbow injury and Hearts’ shoulder injury, but Cream has risen to the top and that’s what’s happening here.

Allen has faced the Eagles only once in his career, losing 31-13 in 2019. Allen threw for just 169 yards and he threw for two touchdowns, compared to the Philly running backs combined he had three touchdowns. This is the first time Hearts are playing Buffalo.

So what’s going on with this game? Expect a sloppy first half followed by a high-scoring second half. This game went into overtime and Buffalo kicked his goal on the winning field on his second drive in overtime. Bill fulfills the “Team of Destiny” story.

Expected score: OT Bill 33-30
