So, of course, the Slovenian will be seen as a frontrunner to tie James’ record in the future. But Doncic quickly brushed off the idea, reiterating that he wasn’t going to play as long as the 38-year-old James.
“If you’re talking about me, I don’t play much so I can’t help it,” Doncic said.
In terms of all-time leading scorers, James is now nearly 400 points behind the all-time leader Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
