Simply put, they need more reliable scoring on the wing. Devin Booker is one of the NBA’s elite shooting guards, but the Suns need another player who can go out and grab a bucket on the perimeter. Michal Bridges is a great player, but creating his own shot is not his forte. With Kam Johnson’s injury, the Suns have made the wing very thin. They have some good roll players, but no one who can throw the ball and score.

Bojan Bogdanovic of the Detroit Pistons. The Pistons recently gave Bogdanovic a contract extension, but rumors persist that they would be happy to move him if the right deal came through. If he is actually available, the Suns will enter those sweepstakes and do what it takes to get him. % and a career-high 21.0 points on a 41.6% 3-line success rate. He can play both forwards in his position and his starting power makes him an immediate fit as a forward. He can pick up a bucket and light it from a 3-point range.
If it’s not Bogdanovic, the Suns should also investigate Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma. Kuzma has grown and continues to grow as a player since arriving in a trade with the Los Angeles Lakers, and has been conflicted this season about whether Kuzma wants to be a Wizard and whether the Wizards want to keep him. There was chatter… long-term works. He’s similar to Bogdanovic and is interchangeable in both forward positions. He shoots 46.1 percent from the field and 33.8 percent from his line from 3-point range, while he has 21.3 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. He may not be a long-range sniper like Bogdanovic, but he can get the bucket.
Even with Kam Johnson’s immediate return, the Suns are still thin up front.Torrey Craig and Ish Wainright aren’t exactly a championship-class power forward rotation. The Suns’ championship window hasn’t completely closed for him. There is still time for them to correct the ship. They’ll get Booker and Johnson back soon and maybe Chris Paul too.What they need is an NBA trade on his deadline already he’s one wing he’s a scoring threat That’s all. Both Bogdanovic and Kuzma would certainly help in that regard.
