Odell Beckham Jr. Buys Stakes in Mexican Soccer Club and Major League Pickleball Franchises, According to Reports

Odell Beckham Jr. is currently investing in several different professional sports. Sportico reports that Beckham has purchased stakes in Liga MX club Necatha and Washington DC’s expansion franchise of major league pickleball.

Beckham acquired the team through an investment group led by Al Tillis and Sam Porter. Owns 50% share.

Club Nekakusa has received significant investment in recent years and is now worth more than $200 million, according to a Sportico report.

Beckham is a lifelong football fan and currently owns a Mexican Premier League club. The 2022-23 season is just beginning, but the club’s Nexaca finished ninth last year.

When it comes to pickleball, Beckham joins the list of professional athletes who have invested in the sport in recent years. American sports giants such as Tom Brady, LeBron James and Draymond Green Fully invested in a major league pickleball franchise.

Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the country, and major league pickleball will expand to 16 teams for the 2023 season.
