NBA 2K23 players are asking developers to ban players who use racist imagery on their MyPlayer characters used in online matches.

2K fans have asked for many changes to the latest version of the popular basketball sim.

One of the latest features our community has been asking for a lot is the ability to transfer MyPlayer builds between games. This alleviates the huge sums of money required to compete online.

Players are now asking developers for another change regarding harassment in online lobbies as Visual Concepts.

NBA 2K23 players want changes to make it less ‘racist’

An NBA 2K Reddit post went viral after finding another player online who painted his body with racist images and symbols.

In the post, they said, “How can you report an idiot with a racist tattoo?”

In the comments section, a fellow NBA 2K player was completely appalled that the person was allowed to bring this MyPlayer character online and was not immediately banned for the behavior.

One player said, “We can report as much as we want. 2K will not take any action on these accounts, but they will take our money immediately.”

Another added, “Smfh, it’s just sick of them.”

One 2K fan said the developers should focus on reducing this rather than other actions.

Hopefully, for 2K23 players who play online frequently, the developers can start reducing this kind of behavior by banning players who engage in targeted harassment via MyPlayer.
