The Premier League festive season may be over, but that doesn’t mean teams are resting. Get the magic of the FA Cup, which starts in Round 3 on Friday and ends with Oxford United on Monday against Premier League leaders Arsenal.

Jürgen Klopp, who has struggled in the league, scored a strong XI against Wolves in Liverpool, but a 2-2 draw on Saturday required a replay. Even Paul Marin and Wrexham enjoyed a shocking cup set at Coventry City, as Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s club stay alive to play in the next round of his FA Cup.

City v Chelsea rematch set

Chelsea and Manchester City returned to action in the FA Cup on Saturday after Pep Guardiola’s side won 1-0 in the Premier League on Thursday. One of the fun quirks of the cup schedule is that teams can play against each other in short turnarounds. Both of these teams are looking forward to a deep run, presumably all the way to the finals of the competition. But only one can go ahead. This is a match that could be a little more open than a Premier League match, with some reserves getting playing time.

Due to the sheer number of delegates, tracking American players overseas is becoming more difficult by the day. Josh Sargent’s Norwich City and new coach David Wagner will host Blackburn Rovers on Saturday and Sunday.
