The Fighting Irish improved to 3-0 with an 85-47 win in the Atlantic Coast Conference game against Boston College at the Purcell Pavilion. KK Bransford In a dominant win, they scored a career-high 17 points, 13 of them in the first half. The freshman was perfect 5-for-5 from the field and 9-for-7 at the free-throw line.

North Carolina started the season 12th in the preseason rankings and climbed up to 6th in both the AP and Coaches polls thanks to a 6-0 start. Back-to-back victories over No. 18 Oregon and No. 5 Iowa in November were their sixth and seventh wins of the season.
When the calendar turned to December, the fortunes of the Tar Heels quickly changed.
Then 5th place Indiana gave them their first loss in the ACC/BIG Challenge with a skewed score of 87-63. UNC then went on to win three straight games against UNC Wilmington, Wofford and South Carolina Upstate, but Sunday’s game against Ireland saw Michigan, currently No. 14, unranked Florida State, currently No. 9. North Carolina’s recent struggles are difficult to grasp. They’re a solid rebounding team (6th in the ACC) with the 1st turnover in the conference. The Tar Heels also have his fifth scoring offense and his ninth scoring defense in the ACC.
They are also injury free in the main rotation. Alyssa Usby, Kennedy Todd-Williams, Eva Hodgson, When Anya Poole Appeared in all 14 games. Deja Kelly There are 13 starts. The top two reserves have played more than 17.0 minutes in all of his 14 games, and his other two reserves have each played more than his 11 games.
Their current four-game losing streak is 22 points combined, and the biggest problem in those losses was getting the ball into the basket. The Tar Heels shot just 36% across the field, and in that stretch he shot just 26% from his range for three points.

The Tar Heels would become the fourth ranked team Notre Dame has faced this season. He’s 2-1 in the last three games against their ranked opponents.
