Kevin Durant’s decision to cancel his trade request from last summer wasn’t based solely on his NBA championship win.
Durant told ESPN’s Nick Friedel that the team-building process was important to him and what ultimately led to the title:
“I s— I don’t even see it that way. My whole thing is, we’re like, does the process matter to us? People enjoy polishing.The most important thing to me.Titles and things come with the process how you prepare.Not only everyone else but myself included So, are we all going to be preached every day? I believed it would be because I had been speaking out all summer long.
