Dilligo beats Mount Abram in men’s basketball

Jan. 6 — SALEM — Charlie Horton scored a game-high 33 points as Dilligo remained undefeated in Thursday’s MVC Men’s Basketball Battle with a 67-65 win over Mount Abram.

Nathaniel Wainwright (11 points) and Trent Holman (10 points) also finished in double figures behind Dilligo (8-0). The Cougars trailed by four in the third quarter, and in the fourth quarter he defeated Mount his Abram 22-16.

Cam Frost-Grey scored 22 points at Mt. Abram (4-2). Kaden Pillsbury and Payton Mitchell added 18 and 12 points respectively.

Caden Springer scored 8 of 11 points in the first quarter and Kayden Dufort added 10 of 13 points in the second as the Warriors (2-5) rallied against the Raiders (1-6). took control at Wells.

Combined, Springer and Dufort made six 3-pointers. Spencer his carpenter gave Wells his 10 points and after the first quarter he led 18-6 and in the first half he led 35-16.

The Maverick Swan leads Oak Hill by 10 points.

Noah Hebert paced the Patriots (5-2) with 17 points in their victory over the Capers (3-3) at Cape Elizabeth.
