The Warriors, currently ranked ninth in the Western Conference, could soon regain their star point guard.
On Wednesday, Golden State general manager Bob Myers said: 95.7 games Steiny & Guru Performance Stephen Curry will be evaluated this weekend and can return to the Warriors’ road match against the Spurs on Friday, January 13.
Myers’ update coincides with the team’s last statement on Dec. 24 that Curry will be re-evaluated within two weeks due to a shoulder injury.Saturday marks just two weeks for the update. To do.
“There is no setback at this point,” Myers said. “He [Curry] I haven’t contacted him but he does all this stuff and he looks like the same person. He’s got sleeves on his shoulders and arms, but that’s the plan, we’ll have to see how he looks this weekend.
Curry suffered a subluxation of his left shoulder in the Warriors’ 125-119 loss to the Pacers on Dec. 14. After this loss and Curry’s injury, Golden State lost three of his next four games. 30 points behind the Nets.
However, the Warriors are 6-3 in their last nine games, including five straight victories over the Grizzlies, Hornets, Jazz, Trail Blazers and Hawks. Curry is averaging his 30 points per game in his 26 contests and his 50% shooting percentage from the field, the best since his MVP season in 2015-16.
