The Houston Astros added depth to their outfield when they added Bly Madris from the Detroit Tigers earlier this week. Madris was recently traded to the Tigers, and the Astros offered a cash consideration for the outfielder.

Madris made his MLB debut with the Pittsburgh Pirates in July of the 2022 MLB season, batting .177/.244/.265 in 39 games. Then the Tampa Bay Rays won the DFA, again in September, and finally Detroit.

It’s just depth movement.

But for what it’s worth, they ranked the Astros number one.
