Men’s basketball dominates performance at Downing Seton Hall 83-61

Omaha, Nebraska — Four different Blue Jays finished in double figures as the Clayton Men’s Basketball Team opened 2023 with an 83-61 victory over Seton Hall 83-61 on Wednesday, January 3.

With the win, the Blue Jays are 9-6 on the season and 3-1 against the Big East, while Seton Hall are 8-8 overall and 1-4 in conference play.

Early in the game, the Blue Jays struggled off the field, hitting only 2 of 11 (18.2%), but Clayton found his rhythm with three consecutive tries. Clayton will return to hardwoods on Saturday, January 7th in a road contest at Connecticut No. 4. The game is scheduled to tip off at 11am on FOX.
