Former Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Uchechuk U Nuwaneri died Friday at his wife’s home in West Lafayette, Indiana. he was 38 years old.

Nuwaneri scored 92 starts while playing in 104 career games, all of them in Jacksonville. His block helped teammate Maurice Jones his Drew achieve his 1,000-yard rushing his season from 2009 to his 2011 for three straight seasons. Jones-Drew led his NFL with 1,606 rushing yards in 2011.
