- The Rutgers continued the 6-0 stretch to cut Maryland’s lead to 20, but the Terrapins worked on two free throws to maintain a comfortable edge.
- Streeter made a big block and a 3-point shot from Smile to take the lead by 20 points. Rutgers added four more points, forcing a timeout for Maryland at 2:32.
