Another member of the 2022 Boston Red Sox has eaten the dust as another member left free agency.
Tyler Danish has agreed to a minor league deal with the New York Yankees after spending the 2022 season with the Red Sox. Reported by Jon Heyman of the New York PostBoston kicked the Dane off a 40-man roster in October and he chose to become a free agent.
The right-hander spent the first few years of his career with the Chicago White Sox, playing from 2016-2018. However, after he was released by the Mariners on May 24, 2019, it took him another 726 days to pitch in his hometown baseball. Also.

During his 2022 run with the Red Sox, Denmark went 3-1 with a 5.13 ERA in 40.1 innings in 32 games. Denmark missed most of the season after hurting his right forearm in July, missing 45 games.
Denmark also spent time in the minors, pitching in both Double-A Portland and Triple-A Worcester. His time with both was short. He posted his 1.93 ERA in his four games with the Sea Dogs, and in his six games with the Wusox he posted a 5.68 ERA.
On Sept. 2, Denmark was called up to the Red Sox after fellow right-hander Zach Kelly was placed on the paternity list.
