Former Alabama safety retired from NFL

In 2019, Clinton-Dix signed with the Chicago Bears and started every game for the fifth straight season. During his starting streak, Clinton-Dix played nearly every snap of his defense.

However, his starting streak ended at 90 games in 2020 when his new team, the Dallas Cowboys, released Clinton-Dicks before the season started, and he didn’t play that year.

In 2021, Clinton Dicks will return to the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers. When the 49ers released him at the end of the preseason, Clinton Dicks moved to Las Vegas where he joined the Raiders. He appeared in his two games with the Raiders before ending his 2021 season with his Broncos practice team in Denver.

Clinton Dicks has been out of football since the end of the 2021 season.

In 98 NFL regular-season games, Clinton-Dix recorded 522 tackles, 16 pass interceptions, 33 break passes, 4 fumbles, 5 recovered fumbles, 5.5 sacks and 8 tackles.

Clinton Dicks also had three interceptions in the playoffs.

In 2016, Clinton-Dix was named to the Pro Bowl and was recognized as the second team All-Pro by the AP.
