The San Antonio Spurs are home on Thursday, but with a five-point spread, it may not be the welcome they hoped for. They and the New York Knicks will wrap up his year at the AT&T Center at 8 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, New York put up a good fight in extra time against the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday, but ended up with a disappointing loss, 126-121. Center Mitchell Robinson put in a good effort for the losing side as he recorded a double-double with 20 points and 16 rebounds.
These two teams are sure to fight tooth and nail to get back on the winning streak after this week’s losses. Permitting an average of 120.50 points per game, the Spurs haven’t exactly claimed themselves defensively. We’ll see if they can close the holes in their defense before their next match.
