After days of teasing fans, the mystery is finally solved. Jazz Chisholm has been officially named as his athlete on the cover of MLB The Show 23.
MLB The Show 22 featured Los Angeles Angels superstar Shohei Ohtani as the game’s cover athlete. Members of the community celebrated his San Diego studio’s decision to honor one of baseball’s brightest talents.
The team went a different direction on MLB The Show 23, paying tribute to rising stars rather than household names. Baseball fans are demanding more personality from their players, and Miami Marlins star Jaz Chisholm ticks all the boxes.
The electrifying Bahamas shortstop has dealt with injury issues in 2022, but his prodigious personality and on-field talent earned him MLB The Show 23 Cover Player honors.

Jazz Chisholm is known for his confident personality.
January 30th, San Diego Studio released a teaser trailer announcing that Chisholm will be the game’s cover athlete, putting him in the company of names that have previously served as the face of the series, including Fernando Tatis Jr., Aaron Judge, and Bryce Harper.
Chisholm responded“Started in the Bahamas and now here I am! This is more of a story about how I got into the game.
In the trailer, Chisholm talks about his upbringing playing 6-on-6 sandlot baseball in the Bahamas.
