Massachusetts plans to launch direct sports betting in the state on Tuesday, two weeks before the Super Bowl and well before March Madness.

Plainridge Park Casino will begin accepting in-person sports betting for the first time on Tuesday at 10am, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 1pm with former New England Patriots linebacker Rob Ninkovich.
