MLB finally shed light on Astros scandal that wasn’t

The Houston Texans have been busy interviewing coaches over the past few weeks, and just this week the team conducted its second round of interviews with Giants OC’s Mike Kafka and Broncos DC’s Ejiro Evero. The Texans also interviewed Los Angeles Rams tight end coach and assistant head coach Thomas Brown, Sean Payton, Lions OC Ben Johnson, Eagles OC Jonathan Gannon and Eagles OC Shane Steichen. Johnson is out of the mix and back in Detroit.

But according to a new report from Ian Rapoport, the Texans may already have made up their minds about their next head coach.

Former Texans linebacker and current 49ers DC Demeko Ryans appears to be the Texans’ frontrunner and he is reportedly interested in the position, with a second interview likely next week. Highly sexual

Lyons has been the 49ers’ defensive coordinator for the past two seasons. San Francisco was the league’s best defense in 2022.

Ryans is a popular position in Houston and fans will be very excited if he can finally get the job. Let’s hope Rapoport’s sources are correct and the Texans have a new head coach.
