The NFL is down to four.

Three of last year’s final four teams are back for the championship weekend as the Chiefs, Bengals and 49ers look to turn another deep run to the championship.

The only team missing from last season is the defending champion Rams. Instead, the Eagles will host the 49ers in his NFC Championship and trip to Super Bowl 57.

With the NFC settled, the Chiefs and Bengals will battle this stage for the second year in a row.

Kansas City has been in the AFC’s class since Patrick Mahomes debuted, but they are facing a team in Cincinnati where likely MVP Mahomes battles an ankle injury and has his number. So booking a trip to Arizona for Super Bowl 57 isn’t easy.

Two of the four possible Super Bowl matchups won’t be the first in a storyline coming out on Sunday. The Chiefs and 49ers met just three years ago in Super Bowl 54, and the Bengals and 49ers played Super Bowl XX3 long ago.

If the Eagles move forward, there will be an all-new Super Bowl matchup, regardless of who is in the AFC.

These playoffs featured many of the big matchups seen in the regular season, but the 49ers vs. the Eagles is not one of them. This was the first meeting between his two best teams in the NFC since September 2021, and a lot has changed since that point.

Leading a Brock Purdy-loaded 49ers team to an NFC title fight instead of Jimmy Garoppolo or Trey Lance, Jalen Hurts and the Eagles start the season just two years after a possible rebuild is in sight. I was allowed to. Both teams have ridiculous collections of weapons, well-rounded defenses and great coaching his staff.

This game could be a trench warfare win, with the vaunted 49ers defense going up against Philadelphia’s most dominant offensive line in the league. The winner of that battle should have the advantage.

Bengals vs. Chiefs

  • date: Sunday, January 29th
  • time: 6:30 PM ET
  • TV channels: CBS
  • Live stream: Paramount +, fuboTV (US) | DAZN (Canada)

Just 364 days after the Bengals stunned the Chiefs at Arrowhead Stadium and advanced to the Super Bowl, the two AFC juggernauts have reunited.

The Bengals haven’t lost since October, and the Chiefs’ only loss since October…was at the hands of the Bengals. Cincinnati may have been a serious underdog a year ago, but this time Joe Burrow and his Co. are not to be underestimated.

With a defense that fires on every cylinder and an offensive ability to thrive in any environment, the Chiefs will have their hands full as they hunt for their third AFC title in four years.

Patrick Mahomes’ ankle sprain would complicate things for Kansas City. is unlikely to reach 100%.

Mahomes 50% better than most quarterbacks, but better than Barrow? It could be a real fight from Kansas City.
