Men’s soccer at Penn State is undergoing staff turnover.

Former Associate Head Coach Greg Dalby joins Oregon State University as the team’s head coach and runs the program announced on thursday.

“I would also like to thank Penn State for a great five years and especially Jeff Cook for being a great leader and mentor,” Dalby said. “I truly believe that Oregon State University is an elite soccer program with a great culture. My family and I cannot wait to enroll at Oregon State University and become part of his Corvallis community.”

Dalby joined the Beavers after spending the past five years at Happy Valley alongside head coach Jeff Cook. In that span, Penn State reached his three NCAA Tournaments and won the Big His Ten regular season title and tournament in 2021. Dalby also coached 14 All-Big Ten selections, 12 All-His Region winners, and 2 All-Americans.

Dalby will take over the program after recently parting ways with head coach Terry Boss, who resigned to pursue a coaching career at the professional level. Oregon State has had great success under Boss as the team won his first Pac-12 Championship en route to earning the No. 1 seed in his 2021 NCAA Tournament.
