However, Polk has several teams that are not only ranked #1 in their districts, but also #1 in their regions.
As in women’s football, 2A’s Lakeland Christian and 4A’s McKeel are the number one teams in the region, and will be well positioned for postseason success, especially if they can secure home field advantage by winning the district title. in a position. district convention.

analysis: Bishop Moore is ranked 3rd in 4A and is the frontrunner to win the district title. Second-seeded Davenport finished 43rd in 4A. Davenport is 6th in the region and should make it to the postseason, especially if he makes it to the district finals. 15 goals for the Broncos under Emmanuel Ramirez.
Class 5A, District 6

analysis: Polk’s team is unlikely to make it to the postseason this year. Winter Haven should be able to beat Durant in the first round, and in the district semifinals he will beat No. 3 Newsom at 7A. In the district he was seeded fourth with the Blue Devils, his 18th-ranked Polk team being the highest-ranked in the region.
