CHICAGO (WGN) – Starting pitcher Mike Clevinger, recently signed with the Chicago White Sox, is reportedly under investigation by Major League Baseball following allegations of domestic violence.
According to The Athletic and ESPN reports, Olivia Finestead, the mother of Clevinger’s 10-month-old daughter, said that Clevinger was “physically, verbally, and verbally abused” by herself and her daughter when she was a member of the San Diego Padres. accused of “emotional abuse”. .

Clevinger, 32, signed a one-year, $8 million contract with the White Sox in December after spending the 2022 season with the Padres. He was in San Diego and spent his first four-and-a-half of his MLB seasons there since being traded from Cleveland midway through his shortened 2020 season.
