Kellin Cassidy is the current two-time National Senior Elite Boxing Champion.

The semi-finals and finals of the National Elite Championship at Dublin’s National Stadium was a big win for amateur boxing in Waterford.
On Friday night, Sabers Crystal’s Kerrin Cassidy faced St. Mary’s Brian Kennedy in the 80 kg semi-final, and it was the Waterford player who led the way with a 5-0 scoreline.
This set Kellin up for Saturday night’s final against Sean McDermotts’ Jason Clancy, and the 2021 champion was quite impressive as he became a two-time National Elite Champion.

Showing his confidence as an elite operator with world-class experience, he beat Jason Clancy by unanimous vote.
