Meet some of the top performers from last week’s Houston High School women’s soccer action. Nominations can be submitted to [email protected] by Sunday evening.

A week after scoring seven goals to make the All-Tournament squad for the Highway 36 Classic, Aguirre added two more goals in a 3–1 win over Belleville.

Bryn Baldon, Kingwood Park

The Panthers needed a late-game offense in a 2–1 win against the Fort Worth Nolan Catholics, and Bardon hit both goals to start his stay at Georgetown.

Eva Bailey, Kempner

Bailey set a season high with four goals and added two assists in Marshall’s 8–0 shutout to start a 20–5A schedule.

Alicia Qi, Brazoswood

Chi scored three goals as the Bucs started action in District 23-6A and shut out Hastings 6-0.

Maddie Nissen, Klein

Nissen scored twice in both games and Bearkat dominated the first week at 15-6A, going 4-3 against Tomball and 5-1 against Klein Kane.

Isabella Paiva, Elkins

Paiva made four saves against Clements to take the 1-1 match to penalty kicks. She added a 2-0 shutout of Fort Bend Austin to go on to play 20-6A.

Herrin Rankin, Tomball Memorial

Rankin scored a hat-trick in Klein Forrest’s 4-0 shutout and was key in sweeping the 15-6A opposition after assisting in a 2-1 victory over Klein Cain.

Anneliese Switzer, Bellair

The Swiss scored seven goals in three wins last week, including four in the 4-3 win over Friendswood. She added her only regulation goal against Clear Lake and added two more with an assist in Clear Creek’s 5–0 shutout.

Gabriela Vazquez, Tompkins

Vazquez recorded his third shutout of the season as the Falcons defeated Cinco Ranch 3-0 and went on to play 19-6A.

Alexia Velazquez, Clear Brooke

Velázquez was involved in almost every goal in the 8-2 victory over Benjamin Davis, having four goals and three assists. She has 14 goals and 12 assists this season.

Adi Zebolt, Foster

Zebolt scored in a 9-0 win over Randle in the 20-5A opener and set the stage for a five-goal performance in a 7-0 win over Cypress Springs.
