February 13 — Mandatory reporting date for pitchers and catchers participating in the World Baseball Classic.

February 15 — Voluntary reporting date for other pitchers, catchers, and injured players.

November 17 — Last day for teams to offer 2024 contracts to 40 unsigned players on rosters.

December 3 — The ballot for the Modern Baseball Hall of Fame/managers, umpires and executive committee was announced in Nashville, Tennessee.

December 4-7 — Winter Meeting, Nashville, Tennessee.

December 15 — The international signature period ends at 5:00 PM EST.
