We asked DAZN’s Todd Grisham for his take on Francis Ngannou’s three boxing matches that will draw fight fans. Here is his answer:

Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou

Tyson Fury, if all you care about is winning that fight, he’s dominating Francis Ngannou, making him look ridiculous, why buy a pay-per-view or a ticket to see them fight? I was able to make people wonder if it was true.

Still, this fight will probably be the most prosperous for Ngannou, especially if Tyson Fury defeats Oleksandr Usyk. But if Ngannou takes up that fight and is made to look silly, I’m worried.I think he will.That’s the cash out option.

Deontay Wilder vs. Francis Ngannou

Wilder is a bit more of a “he has a chance” type fight for Ngannou. Wilder doesn’t move like Fury does. He stands there and tries to land his right hand. Who says Ngannou can’t shoot at him?

So this fight would be a little more plausible and the oddsmakers would probably agree with me. Fury is at least an 8, maybe 10-1 favorite—if not more. I can’t.

But again, if I’m dealing with Francis Ngannou, I don’t want to get him into a big fight with one of those two right out of the gate. I wouldn’t. Let’s say Canelo Alvarez says, “Hey, I’m going to switch to MMA.” Why did you put your first match there against Alex Pereira?

Zhilei Zhang vs. Francis Ngannou

I think the “big bang” is the best bet. Although Zhang is nearly 40 years old, he moves quite slowly and his style makes him similar to Ngannou.

Ngannou wants to stay away from talented boxers as much as possible. Just like Usyk makes him look completely silly in my mind.

Not to mention, they could get it in China.The UK and America aren’t the only places you can make money. That match in Asia… reminded me a little of the K1 days when Alistair Overeem was walking the ramp and fighting guys like Bob Sapp. It’s going to be a huge money-making contest, and I think Francis will be much more competitive than the other two.
