2023 NFL Draft odds set for No. 1 pick: Will Levi rises, but Bryce Young remains frontrunner

The 2023 NFL Draft is still over three months away, but there’s already plenty of debate over who will be the first overall pick.

Kentucky quarterback Will Levis made headlines on social media this week for being less likely to finish first overall, but he’s still not a favorite.Caesars Sportsbook Alabama quarterback Bryce Young is the first favorite to hear called up, even though the Chicago Bears, who now have quarterback Justin Fields, retain their pick. One thing to do is that last year’s Jaguars’ No. 1 overall Travon Walker wasn’t a betting favorite until draft week.

Below are the current Caesars odds on who will be drafted first.

Bryce Young

Young is short in stature and quite an outlier when it comes to physical measurements for this position. But he throws with rhythm and accuracy to all three of his levels on the field. The California native displays leadership and an ability to improvise when plays falter.

CJ Stroud

Stroud spent most of the season under pressure and struggled when he was trapped in his pocket. Enough to soothe?

Will Anderson

Anderson is a pass rusher who offers great size, length and bursts off the snap. He has been sitting on top of a mountain over his college football production for the past two years. The Bears only have 20 of his sacks this season and have managed to make an impact around the corner.

Jalen Carter

The shortest path to the opposing quarterback is over the center. Carter has great explosive power for a player of his size. As the team struggles to find quality internal defense his line his play, the former Bulldog promises to be the best team. +800 is worth it for Carter if the Bears stick around and pick his No. 1 overall.

Will Levis

From a production standpoint, Levi’s had a disappointing season. However, Kentucky lost its first three offensive linemen to the NFL with wide receiver selection Wandale Robinson in the second round, in addition to a change in offensive coordinator. Levi’s has the right size for the position, great arm strength and great mobility.
