Senior Bowl measurements were taken. So practice is underway and the NFL Draft evaluation process is one step further.
One player that stood out on the first day of practice at the Senior Bowl was the Northwestern running back. Evan HullWith 913 rushing yards and a carry average of over 4 yards last year, Hull is more than just a ground-and-pounder. He also showed he could get it done in the receiving game. He caught 55 passes for 546 yards and two touchdowns.
During the NFL Network broadcast, Daniel Jeremiah said Hull reminded him of former New England Patriots running back James White. , it is not surprising that he draws that comparison.
Measuring 5 feet 10 inches and 214 pounds, Hull has a frame that can withstand an NFL hit. Combine that with his all-around skill set and you have a go-to running back week after week.
If the first day of Senior Bowl practice is any indication of Hull’s future, his NFL Draft stock will increase significantly.
