The Alabama Crimson Tide are once again the top team in college football.

That's a spot fans in Tuscaloosa got used to in the Nick Saban era, but fresh off an epic win against Georgia this past weekend, the Crimson Tide can officially say they're the No.

1 team in the AP Top 25 for the first time in the Kalen DeBoer era.

It feels new, because DeBoer is the new coach in town, but according to senior defensive back Malachi Moore this is just another day for Alabama football.

We always thought we were the standard of college football anyway, Moore recently told the media (h/t On3) .

We were always going to get everybodys best shot.

So, it doesnt really affect us any way in how we go about our business." Moore is right that the expectations in Tuscaloosa are championship or bust, but it is impressive to see DeBoer picking right up where Saban left off.

He, of course, still has to win "the big one" but the Crimson Tide are certainly one of the favorites to win the College Football Playoff especially after they took down Kirby Smart and Georgia.

With games against No.

4 Tennessee, No.

9 Missouri, No.

13 LSU and No.

19 Oklahoma still remaining, though, Moore and the Tide know that they've still got a ton of work to do.

We come in each day knowing that were the best and weve got to work like it because on Saturday, whoever we play that week, its going to be a Super Bowl, national championship, however, you want to call it, Moore said.

And we have to be on top of our game every week..
