Ollie Bolduc, sr., QB/DB, Schuylerville Bolduc was a receiver, cornerback and backup QB for the Black Horses for three seasons, before taking last year off to concentrate on lacrosse.
An outstanding all-around athlete, Bolduc returns as the teams starting quarterback, taking over from Luke Sherman.
Head coach John Bowen said Bolduc was a little rusty, but has shown exponential growth in preseason.
Kellen Driscoll, sr., WR/DB, Glens Falls One of the states top football and basketball players in 2023-24, Driscoll is getting NCAA Division III looks in both sports after helping to lead Glens Falls to an undefeated state title in hoops.
Driscoll is a rare talent as a 6-foot-3 receiver, with a mix of size and deceptive speed, a knack for getting open and going up to catch the ball.
He snagged 61 passes for 1,181 yards and 19 touchdowns last season, and was named second-team all-state in Class B.
Max Hohman, sr., OL/DL, Warrensburg-Lake George Hohmans value to the Wolverines was seen in last years Class D sectional final, when he went down with a knee injury and W-LG struggled the rest of the way against Stillwater.
A heart-and-soul player, Hohman battled back from a torn ACL to come into camp at 225 pounds and ready to dominate on both sides of the line.
He started for the Wolverines 2022 team that reached the state semis.
Brody Holcomb, sr., QB, Glens Falls Holcomb has added some more size and strength to his 6-foot-2 frame, and is aggressive, tough and mobile enough to stay out of trouble.
He had a breakout season in his first year as a starter, completing 71 percent of his passes for 2,145 yards and 33 touchdowns, and making fourth-team all-state.
His accuracy and touch is also drawing college attention, in addition to his outstanding basketball shooting skills.
Ryan Ingber, jr., QB/DB, Greenwich Already a third-year starter, Ingber runs the read-option exceptionally well for the Witches, rushing for 841 yards, six scores and eight two-point conversions last season.
Hes also a standout in baseball and basketball for Greenwich.
Head coach Brandon Linnett called him incredibly tough and a positive leader.
Chad (CJ) Monty, jr., RB/LB, Granville-Whitehall Monty established himself as one of the areas best small-school football players, rushing for 1,034 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2023.
A hard-running 5-foot-10, 195-pounder, Monty was named a second-team Class C all-star linebacker in Section II, and honorable mention all-state.
He was a state-caliber wrestler for Whitehall last year, but is passionate about football.
Carter Stevens, sr., WR/DB, South High Stevens brings speed and the ability to stretch defenses on the perimeter, hes an exceptional route-runner and has great chemistry with senior quarterback Brock Killian in their third year of varsity football.
He will be counted on to give the Bulldogs run-oriented offense an extra dimension.
Zavry Ward, sr., QB/DB, Queensbury Queensbury head coach Dave Huth called Ward, a third-year starter at quarterback, the Spartans best all-around football player and a true team leader who is like a coach on the field.
At 6 feet and 205 pounds, Ward has size and mobility as a dual-threat QB (626 passing yards, 622 rushing last season), and is very coachable and has an outstanding football IQ.
Jack Welch, sr., TE/DB, Warrensburg-Lake George Welch, who had not played football before his junior year, burst on the scene as the Wolverines most dangerous offensive player, catching 29 passes for 664 yards and 11 TDs.
Hes bulked up to 205 pounds and still runs a 4.58-second 40-yard dash, making him a matchup nightmare in Class D on offense and defense..
